The number of mining occupations covered in CommInsure's range will rise to more than 40.
During its MORE roadshow series, CommInsure highlighted its fast-tracked claims process, under which 40 per cent of trauma claims are approved in 48 hours.
Claims also include a 100 per cent pre-disability income - an industry first.
"Our medical specialists and underwriters have analysed mining jobs, conditions, salaries and medical requirements to open up more insurance options for miners," CommInsure general manager of retail advice Tim Browne said.
