Pinnacle practice director Anne Fuchs has launched My Dealer Group, a matchmaking service for financial service businesses and licensees.

Fuchs said that while advisers were currently being rigorously pursued by licensees, they often did not know how to evaluate which licensee would be their best match. "In many respects advisers are spoilt for choice. Every licensee is a potential suitor and the grass often looks greener on the other side of the fence," she said.

"But like any relationship, success depends on compatibility. And to date that's been the hard part for both advisers and licensees - discovering whether they are compatible enough to build a successful long-term relationship."

The My Dealer Group service offers independent, unbiased licensee/adviser compatibility assessments with no cost for the adviser.

Key enhancements are layout redesign, easier navigation, smarter navigation, and new tools and resources.

"We've strengthened the best parts of the TAL Adviser Centre and seamlessly introduced a range of new capabilities. As a result, it now offers even more powerful end-to-end support for advisers' businesses - from the quoting and application process, through to the administration of in-force business and claims," TAL chief executive of retail life Brett Clark said.
