Life risk specialist Aaron Zelman has established a new boutique risk advisory firm under the Synchron umbrella.
LifeScope Advice is a new business specialising in life insurance, income protection insurance, underwriting and claims management.
Both Zelman and Synchron director Don Trapnell said the two businesses are a natural fit.
Zelman plans to use social media to drive company promotion.
"Online and social media are revolutionising our society and yet many people in our industry are scared to give it a real go," he said.
"My belief is that the rewards are great for those who provide value to their audience before asking for anything in return."
Prior to the launch of LifeScope Advice, Zelman was risk adviser for eight years at Victorian-based boutique firm Priority Life.
