Protect Ensure managing director Lee Robin told InvestorDaily that the business is launching a recruitment strategy at its new head office in Brisbane to train new advisers in the financial services industry.
"We're trying to recruit new people into the industry. From my experience, there just seems to be a lot of older heads on shoulders and I think we need more new blood," Mr Robin told InvestorDaily.
He explained that Protect Ensure is seeking to recruit both experienced advisers and new people into the industry.
"My strategy is to try and keep it even. At the moment we're heavily overweight with men; it's good, [and] it has its bonuses, but it'd be good to have women on board too that we can help nurture and bring into the industry," he said.
"Out of [our] 25 [advisers] we've got about three or four advisers that will be with us at the head office to start with. What we want to do is try and get 10-15 new people in the group to start with and that way we can train [them].
"We're just putting a strategy together at the moment. In the next 6-8 weeks I want to try and get these new people on board," he said.
