The TrackMySuper application allows fund members to review investment breakdown and returns, access transaction information and check fund balance and insurance levels.
The superannuation tool also provides a two-way interface for direct fund communication and an ability to communicate with different demographics within the membership.
Towers Watson said the app was created to fill the gaps in other smartphone applications, which did not have any interactive capabilities.
"No longer will funds rely on members reading the information in their member statements, visiting their website or ringing their call centre," Towers Watson Australia managing director Andrew Boal said.
