Aviva will give investors extra hours to maximize their super contributions.

Aviva plans to extend its state office hours on 30 June, following an upturn in superannuation contributions to the group.

The financial services provider will extend its hours on what has been dubbed as 'Super Saturday' as a last chance for investors to maximize their super contributions.

Commenting on the move, Aviva's chief operating officer, Grant Salmon, said: "We've seen a big upturn in super contributions at Aviva. With only 14 traditional business days to go, we are being customer-focused by giving investors an extra opportunity to contribute."

"We believe Navigator is the only platform offering to accept contributions on the final day possible," he said.

The offices will be open from 9.00am to 4.00pm on Saturday 30 June.

Meanwhile, Aviva has also launched an evening client transaction team who will work until 9.00 pm Mondays to Thursdays to assist existing administration teams in meeting and exceeding customer service targets.
