HFA Holdings (HFA) has confirmed the internal promotion of two senior executives as joint managing directors of HFA Asset Management (HFAAM).
As reported in InvestorDaily yesterday, Oscar Martinis and Robert White have secured the top jobs.
"Oscar and Rob have played important roles in the growth and development of HFA for many years and I am confident their appointments will provide HFAAM with the guidance it requires to continue this growth," HFA chief executive Spencer Young said.
Martinis, who is HFA head of distribution and White, who is HFA head of corporate and special projects, will report to Young.
Both will retain the major responsibilities of their previous roles and share the additional managing director responsibilities.
Martinis joined HFA in 2000. He has more than 17 years' experience in the funds management industry.
He has held senior positions for organisations including Westpac Financial Services and Rothschild Australia Asset Management Limited.
White joined HFA in 2003. He has more than 12 years' experience in the financial services industry working within both the institutional and retail market segments in the United Kingdom, Europe and Australia.
Martinis' and White's joint appointment will be the second internal hire for HFA in the past week.
Last week HFA founder Spencer Young announced he would return to the helm as chief executive following Paul Jensen's departure after only eight months in the top job.
HFAAM is a wholly-owned subsidiary of HFA and acts as the responsible entity and manager for HFA's suite of absolute return investment funds and has approximately $4 billion in assets under management.
