Financial planning firm Wealth Wise has been named Practice of the Year for 2008, by dealer group Financial Wisdom.
Wealth Wise principal Jamie Luxton said the award was important.
"We have experienced a significant take up rate in lifestyle services and additional added-value services... that clients really appreciate. When we hold seminars with top speakers we get more than 200 clients attending, which is a majority of our top clients. That demonstrates a high level of engagement with clients," he said.
Ward Financial Group adviser Cameron O'Sullivan took out this year's Rising Star of the Year.
This is the second Financial Wisdom award for O'Sullivan. He won the Value of Advice Award in 2007 for pre-retirement strategies.
"We strive to be the best, and credible third party recognition is the best measure of our development and excellence," O'Sullivan said.
The Practice of the Year and Rising Star of the Year categories are new for 2008.
Wealth Wise employs six advisers and 11 support staff, and has achieved a revenue growth rate of 40 per cent in the last financial year.
Ward Financial Group was also recognised last year in IFA's Practice of the Year Award, taking out third spot.
