ING Australia chief executive informs RetireInvest staff of executive departures.

RetireInvest (RI) managing director Greg Dunger and fellow executive Michel Scutts have departed the ING-owned dealer group.

ING Australia chief executive Harry Stout sent an email on Friday informing staff of Dunger and Scutts' departure.

"We'd like to announce that Greg Dunger and Michel Scutts left RetireInvest yesterday to pursue other opportunities outside the business," Stout said.

During his time at RI Dunger helped bring the business to a new level of performance, Stout said.

"His excellent communication skills brought a sense of unity among the team, and helped build rapport with advisers, staff and clients," he said.

"Greg was also pivotal in rolling out a new incentive scheme for the RI advisers with a focus on increasing productivity.

"Michel has been instrumental in the roll-out and integration of X-plan throughout the RI network, which has in turn increased efficiency for advisers."

The name of Dunger's replacement was not provided and an announcement regarding the dealer group's leadership will be made in the coming weeks, the email said.
