The Victoria-based financial advisory firm with links to the collapsed Storm Financial (Storm) group is up for sale.
Victorian Families Retirement & Investment Group Pty Ltd (Victorian Families) is on the market, a statement from Storm said.
The statement also claimed that despite Storm founders Julie Cassamatis, Emmanuel Cassamatis and George Cassamatis being listed as authorised representatives of Victorian Families, neither of them are actively advising at the group.
"Neither Julie, Emmanuel or George are advising at Vic Families," the statement said.
"Julie is the only director of that firm and it is on the market."
Julie, Emmanuel and George Cassamatis are among a total of eight authorised representatives of Victorian Families.
It is not known whether the firm has received any serious buy-out or takeover offers.
Victorian Families still holds an Australian Financial Services Licence, according to ASIC.
Storm Financial founders and its tied subsidiaries have been under close scrutiny since Storm closed its doors on 15 January.
