Further details of Storm Financial's client book will be known today.

Financial planning business broking specialists Kenyon Prendeville will release the business profile of the Storm Financial (Storm) client book today.

"The firm intends to release the business profile of the Storm book of clients today," Kenyon Prendeville director Stephen Prendeville told InvestorDaily.

"Within it will prescribe that there are 10 business days to lodge an expression of interest, so that will be Friday 20 March. We will then be assessing and reviewing all expressions of interest."

More than 60 businesses have shown serious interest in the book of 10,230 clients, Prendeville said.

"We have received in excess of 60 interested parties at this stage," he said. "The range is from small local financial planning businesses to large national dealer groups."

The interested parties are located in Townsville, Cairns, Rockhampton, Mackay, Redcliffe, Brisbane, Sydney and the Gold Coast, Prendeville said.

"So we're receiving interest from locals within those areas and also from national groups as well," he said.

"We do realise these clients are in some distress and we need to find the best advisers to them and be the best purchases for the creditors."

To obtain the business profile of the client book, the 60 businesses as well as any other serious bidder need to contact Prendeville, register their interest and sign a confidentiality agreement, Prendeville said.

Storm's receiver Korda Mentha placed the client book in the hands of Kenyon Prendeville last month.
