The claim in question was lodged by a south-east Queensland dairy farmer, who became victim of his own cattle herd.
For reasons unknown, the herd decided to go on a rampage and targeted the games room of the property.
Along the way the bovines literally behaved like bulls in a China shop, wrecking the farmer's prized pool table, damaging doorways, and ruining the carpets and floorboards in the joint.
The damage bill came to $3000 and the claim was rated by Allianz as the most unusual it received in 2008.
Considering the fame the incident has now achieved, perhaps the claim itself should be framed and go straight into the pool room.
