Sunsuper chief executive Tony Lally has been elected to the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA) as its new chairman.
Lally replaces AMP Corporate Superannuation national manager Greg Healy, who stood down after relocating to Singapore earlier this year.
Lally has been a member of the ASFA board since mid-2008.
ASFA also made a number of new board appointments, with First State Super chief executive Michael Dwyer, Tower Australia managing director Jim Minto, Clayton Utz partner Jane Paskin and Russell Investments managing director Linda Elkins all set to join the association's board.
Colonial First State general manager strategy Nicolette Rubinsztein and Government Employees Superannuation Board (GESB) chief executive Michele Dolin were both re-elected.
"We have a very capable and strong board with a wealth of industry experience," ASFA chief executive Pauline Vamos said.
"I know all ASFA members will look forward to their contribution, both to ASFA and the industry at large.
"I would like to thank all our outgoing board members, Russell Mason, Lorraine Berends and Rosemary Vilgan and our chair Greg Healy for their enormous contribution."
