Leading global risk and reinsurance specialist Guy Carpenter & Company, LLC, has appointed Tony Gallagher as its chief executive officer for the firm's Pacific region.
CEO of Guy Carpenter's Asia Pacific region James Nash said he was delighted Mr Gallagher had joined the firm.
"With his extensive contacts in the region, Tony has been charged with positioning Guy Carpenter as the premier reinsurance provider in the Pacific region. We are excited by the future prospects in this important market for our region," he said.
Mr Gallagher was formerly the client service manager for Treat in Australia and New Zealand of Gen Re. He has also worked in the reinsurance industry for 17 years in the UK, Japan and Australia.
