BT Investment Management Limited (BTIM) has announced the appointment of Meredith Brooks as the company’s non-executive director.
Ms Brooks, who begins her role next month, will also serve as a member of the board’s audit and risk management committee.
Chairman Brian Scullin said he was delighted to welcome Meredith to the board of BTIM.
“Meredith has significant international experience in the finance industry, particularly in funds management,” he said.
“I believe Meredith will make a significant contribution to the board and her broad global industry knowledge will complement the board’s existing mix of skills and experience.”
The Macquarie University graduate has worked in the financial services industry for over 30 years and has held a number of senior positions with the US-based Frank Russel Company.
She is currently the chair of Balmain Investment Management Limited, the chair of Critical Path Inc, and a member of the Industry Advisory Board for the Faculty of Business and Economics at Macquarie University.
