ANZ have employed former ABN Amro veteran, Arjan de Boer, as head of private banking for north east Asia.
Mr de Boer, who has over 14 years' experience in Asian private banking, previously held a similar position at the financial group ABN Amro.
He will oversee the company's private banking business in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
ANZ's managing director of wealth Asia, Bret Packard, said of his appointment, "His deep knowledge of Asia, management expertise and leadership qualities will further strengthen our private banking leadership team."
Mr de Boer starts in early June, reporting to Craig Burgess, the current acting head of the Asian private banking division, and ANZ's Hong Kong CEO, Susan Yuen.
