legalsuper has appointed Towers Watson as asset consultant to provide investment and financial advice for the fund's $1.9 billion investment portfolio.
The appointment follows a tending process conducted by accounting and advisory firm Dymond, Foulds & Vaughan.
legalsuper chief executive Andrew Proebstl said, "Towers Watson's wide global research capability, it's clear focus on the asset consulting business and the demonstrable expertise of the consultants who will advise legalsuper were important factors in our decision-making process."
Towers Watson is replacing JANA Investment Advisers, which had been the fund's asset consultant since 2003.
