Towers Watson has added to its investment team in Australia with the appointment of two consultants and three analysts, the company announced.
The appointments strengthen Towers Watson's "client consulting and research expertise," the firm stated.
Sean Brereton and Dania Zinurova have been appointed as investment consultants, with Mr Brereton joining the Melbourne office and Ms Zinurova joining the Sydney office.
Graeme Miller, director of investment services for Towers Watson in Australia, said "having professionals of their calibre will ensure we continue to provide clients with a competitive edge".
Mr Breteron was previously associate director at Access Capital Advisers and is an associate of the Institute of Actuaries Australia. Ms Zinurova transferred from Towers Watson UK and prior to this, she was an investment analyst at Russell Investments.
Towers Watson has also appointed Jonathan Grigg and Richard Cooney as investment analysts. Both will be based in Melbourne, with Mr Cooney transferring from the superannuation consulting team. Both Mr Grigg and Mr Cooney studied at the University of Melbourne.
Based in Sydney's client consulting team, Majan Tharmanathan has also been appointed as investment analyst and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Actuarial Studies) and Applied Finance from Macquarie University.
