IFSA reshuffles board

IFSA reshuffles its board of directors, replacing two of its long-standing members. 

The Investment and Financial Services Association (IFSA) has made changes to its board of directors, following its annual general meeting last week.

Schroder Investment Management Australia chief executive Greg Cooper and Australian Ethical Investment managing director Anne O'Donnell have replaced long-serving board members Maurice O'Shannassy and Justin Wood.

Perpetual managing director David Deverall remains as IFSA chair, while Vanguard Investments Australia managing director Jeremy Duffield and Macquarie Bank group head - banking & financial services Peter Maher will remain as deputy chairs.

"We welcome the appointments and believe the new members will add diversity to the board," IFSA chief executive Richard Gilbert said.

Remaining board members include: AllianceBernstein Australia chief executive Michael Bargholz, Colonial First State Investments chief executive Brian Bissaker, BT Financial Group chief executive Robert Coombe, Aviva Australia chief executive Allan Griffiths, AXA Australia chief executive Warren Lee, St George Bank group executive wealth management Geoff Lloyd, AMP Financial Services managing director Craig Meller, MLC Australia chief executive Steve Tucker and Franklin Templeton Investments Australia managing director Maria Wilton.
