AMP Capital Investors has expanded its property team with the appointment of Adam Tindall as director of asset management.
Formerly an executive director in property at Macquarie Capital Advisers, Tindall will begin working in the new role on 17 August.
The newly-created senior role will see Tindall assume overall responsibility for AMP Capital's shopping centres, office and industrial property asset management businesses.
The leadership position is a further boost to the property business' experience and expertise, AMP Capital Investors director of property Andrew Bird said.
"Adam's appointment to this key new role will enable our business to explore further growth opportunities and to continue adding value for our clients," he said.
"In the current market environment, it is important to continue to improve the breadth and depth of our property leadership team.
"Adam's track record shows he has the industry experience and knowledge to seek and drive further synergies across our property business."
Tindall brings 17 years of experience to his new position, with previous leadership roles at Lend Lease Group as well as a stint as chief executive for Bovis Lend Lease Asia Pacific.
