Risk and Investment Advisors Australia (RIAA) has recruited a former Professional Investment Services (PIS) manager to grow its advice footprint in New South Wales.
Formerly a national training and development manager at PIS, Dick Brooks has been appointed as RIAA's NSW state manager.
He brings to his new role a wealth of experience in the financial advice industry, working previously as a financial planner for 16 years, as well as general manager for client and planner services at Monitor Money for seven years.
At PIS, Brooks was responsible for the development and delivery of training courses for planners and risk writers, conducting professional development days, and induction programs for new advisers.
"It is a key appointment for us. Dick's role is to build our business in NSW through working with our existing advisers and introducing new people to the RIAA family," RIAA chief executive Les Mace told InvestorDaily.
"We now have state managers on the ground in NSW, Queensland and Victoria, confirming our commitment to work very closely with our advisers and help them to grow and develop their businesses."
