Mercer Investment Consulting continues to strengthen its global wealth management capability with the senior appointments of Brian Long and Luke Fitzgerald.
They will provide advisory and research services to financial planning organisations, private banks and platforms.
Long will lead Mercer's wealth management team in Australia and New Zealand. He brings to his new role more than 25 years' experience in investment banking, investment administration and custody, investment research and product distribution.
Fitzgerald joins Mercer in a senior consulting role, focusing on national financial planning dealer groups. He has a strong business development and distribution background within a variety of industries, including within financial planning networks, in both Australia and New Zealand.
Mercer's Investment Consulting business leader in Australia and New Zealand Graeme Mather said the two senior hires will strengthen Mercer's capabilities in the wealth management segment.
"Both Brian and Luke have significant industry experience and possess the skills needed to take our wealth management business to the next level," he said.
