Millennium3 has hired a former PIS senior executive as the dealer group's new life risk director.

OnePath-owned dealer group Millennium3 has appointed Winton Aslin as its new life risk executive director.

Formerly a senior executive at Professional Investment Services (PIS), Aslin takes over from former Millennium3 life risk executive director Marcus O'Sullivan, who departed the role earlier this year.

Aslin brings to the new position more than 30 years' experience in the insurance industry, with his most recent role as group manager of risk at PIS.

In his new job, he will focus on increasing risk revenues for the individual advice practices operating under the Millennium3 banner, as well as for the dealer group itself, and initiating various levels of activity that will achieve these insurance growth targets.

He will also be responsible for recruiting more life risk advisers to the Millennium3 network, as well as working with all advisers to assist them through the Future of Financial Advice transition period, irrespective of which reform proposals are adopted or in what form they may be implemented.

"We're pleased to welcome Winton to Millennium3, whose experience in the industry will be a valuable asset to the business," Millennium3 joint managing director Barry Martin said.

"A key focus of Winton's role is to grow our life risk business and to assist our advisers to grow their business. Winton will also introduce robust systems and processes to support advisers with the changing landscape of the financial services industry."
