BT Investment Management (BTIM) has appointed Justin Davey as a portfolio manager/credit analyst to its income and fixed interest team.
Davey will be responsible for managing a number of fixed income credit portfolios and will be the primary analyst on the financials, infrastructure and utilities sectors.
He will also work closely with the income and fixed interest quantitative analysis and risk unit in developing credit models.
Davey joins BTIM from Challenger Financial Services, where he was a portfolio manager and credit analyst.
Prior to Challenger, he worked as a ratings analyst for Standard & Poor's, was a senior credit analyst for Citibank and Citigroup, as well as a senior auditor for Ernst & Young.

"Over his career he has worked across the four main areas of corporate credit analysis - as an auditor, a front line credit analyst on Wall Street, then as a ratings analyst before moving to the buy-side as a portfolio manager."
