Russell Investment's New Zealand managing director Mark Blair resigns from the organisation.

Russell Investment has confirmed its New Zealand managing director Mark Blair has tendered his resignation following nine years with the organisation.

The firm said it was actively recruiting to fill the role over the coming weeks.

Blair was responsible for strategic direction, products, services and operations of Russell's business across institutional and retail clients in New Zealand.

"After nine years with Russell I can confirm that Mark Blair has decided to leave and we wish him well in his future endeavours," a Russell Investment spokesperson told InvestorDaily yesterday.

 
 

"We remain committed to further strengthening our relationship with industry funds and are actively recruiting for a replacement to fill the role in the coming weeks.

"We are excited by the opportunities that exist within the industry fund sector and we are well placed to help them address their needs both now and in the future."
