MLC & NAB Wealth has named branding expert Simonne Hogan as its general manager in charge of marketing.
Hogan joins National Australia Bank's (NAB) wealth management arm from Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ), where she was head of brand and marketing at ANZ Wealth. She oversaw ING Australia's rebranding exercise to OnePath following its acquisition by ANZ.
She has more than 15 years of experience in financial services market and brand building, including marketing roles at Westpac and ING. She was co-founder and managing director of consultancy Brand Council.
Hogan takes up her new role on 1 August.
MLC executive general manager of advice and marketing Richard Nunn said the group was happy to have someone of Hogan's calibre leading its marketing team.
"Her depth of experience and leadership will be invaluable when setting MLC's future strategic marketing direction and building on our successful With You campaign," Nunn said.
As well as driving the MLC & NAB Wealth marketing agenda, Hogan will be a member of the NAB corporate affairs and marketing executive committee, led by NAB group executive Andrew Hagger.
