Superannuation fund Equisuper has appointed five people to key jobs following growth in membership and funds under management.
 
Melbourne-based Equisuper manages $3.7 billion for 38,000 members.
 
In the internal investment team, Suzanne Branton has been appointed senior portfolio manager and Mei Pink Hoo as investment associate.
 
Branton has more than 13 years' experience and was formerly head of institutional business at Goldman Sachs JBWere Asset Management.
 
Julie May has taken the job of risk and compliance analyst. May began her career in retail banking before moving into technical and compliance areas of financial planning for ANZ, Axa and Bank of Melbourne.
 
In member administration, Chris Claessen has been appointed as member services manager. Claessen was formerly member relations manager for Telstra Super.
 
Lastly, Angela Baker has taken the job of communications officer. She was previously with ANZ for 11 years.
 
"Equisuper has appointed five new people to a variety of roles within its organisation, substantially increasing its internal capability and expertise after another year of strong growth in membership and funds under management," Equisuper communications manager Geoff Brooks said.
