Heavy hitters in jobs shake up

Property group Stockland and Coca-Cola Amatil lose key executives

A number of financial services movers and shakers have taken new jobs during the holiday period.

Robb Macnichol has joined Macquarie Bank where he will expand the wholesale real estate equity raising capability of the International Banking Group. Macnichol was formerly Stockland head of the unlisted property funds.

MetLife Insurance has appointed Peter Erlandsen as actuarial head. Erlandsen was formerly chief financial officer for the Indonesian subsidiary of a multinational life insurer.

ING Investment Management has appointed Steve Barraclough as international asset management team tactical strategies senior portfolio manager. Barraclough was previously managing foreign currency exposures for Coca-Cola Amatil, Sydney.

 
 

UK motor underwriter and broker Equity Insurance Group chief executive officer Neil Utley has joined the Insurance Australia Group (IAG) executive team. The move follows the acquisition of Equity by IAG for $1.4 billion.

Andrew Alcock has been promoted to chief executive officer of Australian Administration Services, the funds administration business owned by Link Group. He was formerly chief operating officer.

Colonial First State Global Asset Management has appointed Peter Meany to the new position of head of listed infrastructure securities. He was formerly at Credit Suisse Equities (Australia).
