Australian Unity Financial Planning (AUFP) has established three new practices and taken on five advisers.

Michelle Harrison, formerly with Commonwealth Bank of Australia, will establish a practice in Glen Waverley, Melbourne; former-Australian Financial Services planner Richard Smith will set up a practice at Toowong, Brisbane; and Michael Wooley, who was previously with Westpac Financial Planning, will establish an office in Parramatta, Sydney.

Anna Harte has joined the AUFP branch at Kedron, Brisbane, from ABN Amro and risk adviser Rick Williams, who last worked for Westpac Financial Planning, has joined the South Melbourne office. Dealer group Australian Unity Funds Management had 24 advisers in 20 practices with $260 million in funds under advice, according to the IFA Dealer Group Survey published earlier this month.
