Forty-two of the nation's premier advisers have entered the FPA Value of Advice Awards 2007.
The awards recognise excellence among Australia's 5390 certified financial planners. State and national judging will begin soon.
Its five categories are wealth accumulation, post-retirement planning and management, low-income planning, pre-retirement planning and lastly, community contribution and pro bono work.
"We have had a good response with 42 entries received across the country, demonstrating some excellent examples of the value of advice given to clients and the community," an FPA spokesman said.
Winners will be announced in early October and presentations to the national winners will be made at the FPA 2007 National Conference in November.
