Residential property investment specialist Destiny Financial Solutions has launched a company offering a loan uniquely tailored for property investors.
Since opening on June 29, Destiny Mortgage Solutions chief operating officer Vanessa Vignes has loaned $2.5 million.
Finance is sourced through a boutique wholesale company with the trustee role undertaken by Perpetual Trustees.
"In our search for a group product for property investors we've talked to many, many banks over the years and not been able to get the right product," Destiny Financial Solutions founder Margaret Lomas said.
"We knew what it looked like, but the banks couldn't get it quite right."
The loan's attraction is twofold - a good rate for investors because it cuts out the middle man and remuneration stability for Destiny franchisees.
Destiny has opened another four branches, taking the total to 12 plus its online, virtual branch.
Franchises have opened in Highett in Melbourne managed by Louise Lucas, Crows Nest run by Jim Leone, Beresfield in Newcastle managed by Annette Litchfield and Mawson Canberra, managed by Tim and Elena Hull.
Destiny is about to fit out franchises in Hurstville and North Brisbane.
Lomas was crowned 2006 Telstra NSW Business Woman of the Year, has 34 investment properties and is in the process of writing her sixth book.
