Investment and funds management company Perpetual Investments has promoted Gai Ferrington to wealth management head of platforms.
Ferrington was formerly platforms and investments senior manager. She has been with the company for a year.
The head of platforms position was vacant for several months after Barry Porter left.
Ferrington, who has 15 years' industry experience, will report to Perpetual wealth management chief operating officer Eric Wang.
She will manage and build Perpetual's platforms, which include the WealthFocus masterfund, investor directed portfolio services and its self managed account.
"Over the past year, Gai has been instrumental in improving our platform offering and developing a best practice sales and marketing program for Perpetual's WealthFocus platform," Wang said.
Previously, Ferrington worked at ING for 14 years. Her job included developing and marketing the OneAnswer and PortfolioOne platforms.
