Perennial Investment Partners has hired James Soutter and Nayan Sheth to refocus the boutique's international investment business based on its high alpha approach.

Soutter previously managed around $4.6 billion in a trust for investment giant JP Morgan in the United Kingdom. Sheth previously worked for financial services group TIAA-CREF in the United States.

Lifeplan Funds Management (LFM) has added two to its management team.

LFM loans manager Trevor Holst has been promoted to business development manager of South Australia and Western Australia. Insurance Australia Group former marketer Caroline Cursley has been appointed LFM's new group marketing manager.
