Professional Investment Services (PIS) has appointed Ian Frost to head up the dealer group's Singaporean division.
Frost replaces Bernard Maughan in the role.
PIS' Singapore operations are also known as Professional Investment Advisory Services (PIAS).
"Frost's role will be to lead PIAS to grow its network of advisers and customer base, develop and expand the company's offer the customers and ensure there are the systems and talent in place to support these goals," a company spokesman said.
His last job was at eGroup Insurance Services as managing director. He has more than 20 years' financial services experience.
PIAS has more than 330 financial planners and the company expects to grow that number to over 500 this year.
It also has around $526 million in funds under management.
Last year PIS said it would grow revenue within PIAS' financial planning business by 50 per cent as well as buy back 20 per cent of its advisers' shares.
PIS is Australia's largest dealer group with 1379 advisers is headquartered in Bundall, Queensland with operations in Canada, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and New Zealand.
