The appointments bring the total number of employees at Macquarie Life to 40.

"Our focus is to improving the client adviser experience [and] we are looking to really looking to differentiate our product is to integrate it with the advisers back-office and the efficiencies that can be generated by that," Macquarie Life head Justin Delaney told InvestorDaily.

Macquarie Life is in discussions with at least three other dealer groups to badge its FutureWise platform following a deal with Count Financial last month.

The group is appointing more underwriters and a full-time BDM to Western Australia, Delaney said.

FutureWise provides products such as life insurance, trauma and disability income insurance.

It allows planners to complete an application, receive an underwriting assessment and submit the application online in around 15 minutes.
