Former Count Financial chief executive Marianne Perkovic has been appointed the new general manager of distribution with Colonial First State.
The move comes after Perkovic resigned from her position at Count earlier today.
Perkovic has been with Count for over 11 years after being appointed executive director in March 2004 and chief executive in August 2006.
Count chairman Barry Lambert said a replacement for Perkovic will be sought in due course. That person will be given the task of leading Count ahead of the listing of Countplus in 2010 and other opportunities expected to arise following the global financial crisis and various industry challenges.
Lambert will be acting chief executive until a replacement is appointed in the new year, Count said.
