Research house Lonsec has kept its highly recommended rating on BT Investment Management's (BTIM) BT Wholesale Ethical Share Fund.

Although BTIM announced on 30 June 2009 that chief executive Dirk Morris had tendered his resignation, there have been no changes to the investment process or key personnel since Lonsec's prior review in August.

Lonsec said the fund's portfolio manager Jack Chemello was a key feature of the fund.

"Chemello bears an appealing combination of investment smarts with a reasonable motivation for socially responsible investment," Lonsec said.

The fund seeks to exclude certain industries deemed to be ethically irresponsible and includes companies that make a positive contribution to society on sustainable grounds.
