Count Financial has appointed Andrew Gale as chief executive and managing director of the company.
Gale has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry.
He joins Count from Deloitte, where he was Deloitte Actuaries & Consultants managing partner.
"I am excited to be joining Count as CEO. Based on my experiences in financial services strategy, I believe Count is particularly well positioned in terms of changing industry dynamics, regulatory changes and industry consolidations," Gale said.
"With the current extent of consolidation in the wealth management sector, there are major opportunities for a successful independent organisation such as Count to achieve strong and profitable growth."
Gale will take up his appointment around the end of March.
Count was formerly led by Marianne Perkovic, who left to join Colonial First State in 2009.
