Wealth advisory firm Centric Wealth has boosted its technical research team with two new appointments.
The company hired Sean Fannin, who has over 19 years experience in financial services, as its technical research manager.
He will be responsible for leading Centric's technical research team while Anne-Marie Esler takes maternity leave from June for 10 months.
Fannin was formerly with Ironbark Asset Management as senior technical manager. Before that, he was Westpac Financial Planning's head of technical and strategy.
Centric also appointed Natasha Panagis as a technical research analyst.
She joined the company in January from FuturePlus Financial Services, where she responsible for managing the paraplanning team.
Centric's technical research team is responsible for providing its advisers and clients with insight to changing superannuation, taxation and financial planning legislation in order to help them to continue to make informed decisions, Centric said.
"They both bring an abundance of experience and knowledge to the technical research capability of Centric Wealth," Centric Wealth chief operations officer Nicholas van der Ploeg said.
"We know that in Anne-Marie's absence Sean will successfully lead the team as it continues to provide the highest standards of professional advice and a quality service for our clients and advisers."
