Mercer has appointed Steve Schubert to the newly-created role of enterprise-wide client management leader for Australia and New Zealand.
Schubert and his team will drive continued growth with responsibility for managing Mercer's largest clients across its consulting, outsourcing and investments businesses, Mercer said in a statement.
He has over 30 years worth of financial services experience and was most recently Russell Investments managing director of superannuation with responsibility for sales, revenue growth and client and business profitability.
"We are excited about Steve's new role and the establishment of a dedicated enterprise-wide client management team," Mercer's managing director and market leader for Australia and New Zealand David Anderson said.
"In recent years, Mercer's client portfolio has evolved, commensurate with our strong success in the market.
"Or clients rely on Mercer's services that span consulting, outsourcing and investments. This new team will further enhance our client relationships and enable our continued, strong growth at the large end of the market place."
Schubert is based in Melbourne and will report directly to Anderson.
