Asset manager Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) has appointed Roger Prezens as an executive director to its Australian client coverage team.
Prezens, who will be based in Melbourne, will work with head of investment management Daniel Vanden Boom and focus on institutional business development and servicing existing clients.
He joins MSIM from UBS Global Asset Management, where he was a director responsible for institutional business development and client service.
"We are committed to providing the highest level of investment solutions and client service to Australian investors," MSIM head of international distribution Paul Price said.
"Australia remains a key market to us globally and we are very pleased to welcome somebody with Roger's experience in the institutional market to the team."
MSIM manages eight investment strategies for Australian institutional investors across global equities, fixed income, real estate, unlisted infrastructure and private equity.
The firm has 640 investment professionals around the world and about $284 billion in assets under management or supervision.
