Former DST Global Solutions director of sales Nick Frolich has taken up a new role with financial services technology company GBST.
It is understood Frolich has been appointed to a sales position at GBST, as the company seeks to expand its software solutions to the market.
GBST would not comment on the appointment, but it is understood an announcement is likely to be made by next week.
Frolich was with DST for just over 16 years before formally leaving in March.
His role was partly taken up by Rhys Octigan, who is now DST head of client relationship management for Australia and New Zealand.
In June, GBST announced a record year for sales and new licences, underpinned by research and development and ongoing investment in new technology.
"In the past 12 months we have commenced the implementation of projects in Asia, United Kingdom and Australia for new licences, which will add more than $7 million to our revenues in financial year 2012, and a further $3 million per year in financial year 2013 once all current contracts go live," GBST managing director and chief executive Stephen Lake said.
"GBST is seeing a trend towards increased investment by our clients in technology in Australia, Asia and Europe as a result of greater business confidence.
"This has led to an unprecedented level of demand for GBST's products and will underpin GBST's forecast to continue to increase market share."
