VicSuper engages Provisio's Rapid Advice

VicSuper will use Provisio's advice technology to deliver single-issue advice to its members.

VicSuper has appointed online advice specialist Provisio Technologies to develop financial advice engagement for its 260,000 members.

The $8.5-billion public offer fund said it would use Provisio's Rapid Advice engine to deliver "consistent, accurate, single-issue advice" through VicSuper's contact centre, face-to-face advisers, print and online.

"VicSuper has offered members specialised personal advice for over 10 years. However, we acknowledge that this level of comprehensive advice isn't for everyone, so we're pleased to be able to expand our advice offering. Single-issue personal advice will benefit many more of our members," VicSuper chief executive Michael Dundon said.

"Provisio is a great fit for us because they have developed forward-looking technology that is flexible enough to work through any member engagement channel. Their online tools also rank highly for member usability."

The Provisio advice engine would integrate with the existing VicSuper member administration and work-flow systems, Provisio Technologies director Cameron O'Sullivan said.

O'Sullivan said future VicSuper initiatives, such as online and mobile self-service advice tools, co-browsing between advisers and online members, and personalised education initiatives were also being developed by Provisio.
