Another ex-RetireInvest executive has resurfaced after departing the firm.

Former RetireInvest chief operating officer Michel Scutts has joined Pivotal Financial Advisers.

Scutts joins the Tower Australia-owned dealer group as its national operations manager, a Tower spokesperson said.

He commenced with the firm late last year, and reports to Pivotal Financial Advisers chief executive Maria Cheer.

Scutts's former RetireInvest managing director, Greg Dunger, has also resurfaced in the industry, taking a role with AMP Financial Services as a consultant.

Dunger has been working with the company's Financial Planning Advice and Services division on a part-time basis for the past couple of months, an AMP spokesperson said.

No further details regarding Dunger's position with AMP were available.

Scutts and Dunger departed the ING-owned dealer group in February 2009.

At the time, ING Australia chief executive Harry Stout sent an email informing staff of Dunger and Scutts's departure.

"We'd like to announce that Greg Dunger and Michel Scutts left RetireInvest yesterday [6 February 2009] to pursue other opportunities outside the business," Stout said.

Former Genesys Wealth Adviser chief operations officer Paul Campbell was named as Dunger's replacement.
