BT Financial Group has appointed a new national manager for its AdviserNetgain planning tool.

Former Coin Software managing director Darelle Jenkins has been appointed as the new national manager for AdviserNetgain, the financial planning practice support application provided by BT Financial Group.

"Darelle joins us with a proven track record in advice technology," BT Financial Group head of dealer groups and licensee select Neil Younger said.

Jenkins' new role will see her involved in the strategic development of AdviserNetgain for financial advisers.

"The future of advice technology is a critical success factor in addressing some of the challenges financial advisers face in preparing for the changing regulatory landscape," Younger said.

Jenkins brings to the position several years of financial services experience, having held a variety of senior management roles at organisations such as MLC, Colonial First State and the Commonwealth Bank.

Most recently she was managing director of the Macquarie-owned Coin Software, a position she held for two years until late November 2009.

"Advice technology plays an important role in helping advisers to articulate the value of advice they deliver," Jenkins said after the announcement of her appointment.
