Litigation firm Slater & Gordon has reached settlements with the National Australia Bank (NAB) over Storm Financial client claims.
Slater & Gordon group practice leader Brisbane, Damian Scattini, said the firm has settled two claims with the bank.
"We are settling cases with the National Australian Bank. So far we've signed deeds on two," Scattini said.
"We're quietly going about our business with the NAB and both Slater & Gordon and the NAB are acting in good faith and our clients are benefiting in that."
Due to the confidential nature of the settlements, he was unable to discuss the settlement details.
Slater & Gordon remains in advanced discussions with ANZ regarding a proposed resolution scheme.
"We're hoping we'll have something next week. We're well advanced on that," Scattini said.
As well as negotiating compensation outcomes for clients of the failed advice firm with NAB and ANZ, Slater & Gordon has taken action against Bank of Queensland and is investigating Macquarie Bank.
"We're investigating Macquarie but we've got the Bank of Queensland and ANZ and NAB and CBA, and that's keeping us busy. Their turn will come," Scattini said.
Storm Financial collapsed in January 2009.
