Sunsuper has plans to add investment managers to its private capital program.
The fund recently appointed US manager Anchorage Capital to manage about $50 million.
The fund is currently finalising mandates with two other investment managers.
"The addition of investment managers is just part of an ongoing initiative in our private capital program," Sunsuper portfolio manager of investment strategy Corrin Collocott said.
The private capital program includes private equity managers as well as managers who focus on investing in debt.
The program represents about 7 per cent of Sunsuper's overall investment portfolio.
