The company's wholesale life general manager would be announced shortly, CommInsure said.

Commenting on the restructure, CommInsure managing director Paul Rayson said: "CommInsure is a large and diverse insurer operating across many markets. I'm pleased to be able to appoint these leadership roles from within the Commonwealth Bank Group, which is truly a testament to the depth of talent in our organisation.

"I am confident that under our new leadership team CommInsure will continue to deliver excellent service and outcomes to our advisers and customers."

The new structure brought together the various product, distribution and support teams for each line of business to better serve the needs of CommInsure's customers and advisers, the company said.

The reorganisation is effective from 1 July, with the transition to the new structure commencing immediately.
