SuperFriend has hired Margo Lydon as its executive officer.

Industry superannuation fund mental health foundation SuperFriend has hired Margo Lydon as its executive officer.

Lydon's previous job was with Oak House as a business manager. Oak House provides an outpatient service for people with eating disorders.
 
Lydon will be responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational development of SuperFriend.
 
The group's focus for 2010/11 would be on further developing initiatives that significantly improved the understanding and knowledge of mental health and wellbeing issues for industry fund members and stakeholders, SuperFriend said. 
 
SuperFriend was developed through a partnership of industry superannuation funds concerned about members' mental health.
 
The group brings together superannuation funds, insurers and mental health organisations to offer resources to members and assist them with seeking early help.
