A NSW-based Count Financial advisory practice has moved away from the white label self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) administration application provided by its dealer group and signed up to use rival administration software provider superMate.
The Count Financial practice in question is Roberts & Morrow situated in Armidale and has adopted the new SMSF administration software provided by Supercorp in order to better streamline the firm's business practices.
"Having used Supercorp's Superfund software in conjunction with MYOB [mind your own business] in the past, one of the advantages we hope to make use of is the increased productivity stemming from the solution's MS Word integration for reporting, as well as improved automated data loads," Roberts & Morrow SMSF manager Alistair Galbraith said.
"We selected superMate as we knew Supercorp and were familiar with the high standard of product that the company has consistently developed over the years," he said.
The deal marks a move away from the SMSF administration system provided by the firm's dealer group.
The Count Financial white label application was rolled out in the first half of last year and used Class Financial System's Class Super product as its underlying platform.
"We are delighted that Roberts & Morrow have achieved a trouble free migration of data to superMate and that they are already experiencing the benefits of the change. This is especially pleasing since they were one of our larger Superfund users and the move to superMate was achieved with virtually no impact on their staff or clients," Supercorp chief executive Kurt Groenveld said.
